-
The Dashboard is the home page for cuLearn that allows you to access its various features. The first of these features is the Navigation block in the top left-hand corner of the screen. This is where you can access the cuLearn pages for your courses for the current semester as well as past semesters. You can also access the pages for any programs you are taking through cuLearn. The navigation block will also allow to you to access your other courses while on the page of another course.
- Latest Announcements
-
In the top right-hand corner of the dashboard, opposite the navigation block, is the Latest Announcements block. This is where important information can be be provided to all users of the cuLearn system.
- Calendar
-
Under the Latest Announcements block on the right-hand side of the dashboard is the calendar. The calendar will highlight any days where an assignment is due or a quiz opens or closes.
By moving your cursor over the highlighted day, you can see which assignments are due that day or which quizzes open or close.
- Upcoming Events
-
Under the calendar block is the Upcoming Events block. The Upcoming Events block is directly tied to the calendar, as it is a list of all the dates on which assignments or quizzes are due. Each of the assignments in the list will coincide with a highlighted date on the calendar.
- cuLearn Information
-
In the middle of the dashboard at the top of the page is a section on important cuLearn information. This section outlines some of the guidelines and rules of cuLearn all students must know when using the system.
- Courses by Semester
-

Simply click on the course code to return to that course’s main cuLearn page.
In the top left-hand corner remains the navigation block. On a course page, however, the navigation block allows you to quickly navigate the different topics for the course whose page you are on through the current course tab. The “my courses” tab allows access the the pages of your other courses.

Selecting the quizzes option will bring you to a page with a list of all the quizzes on cuLearn for that class. Selecting the resources option will bring you to a page that displays all the content the instructor has made available to you as a part of the course on cuLearn. The instructor may also choose to add a link to the forum on the cuLearn for the class, where the instructor can respond to student question or make announcements about the course.
- Administration and Grades
-
Under the activities page will usually be the administration block, where students can select the grades option to view their grades for the course. -
In the top right-hand corner of the page is the Mail block. By selecting the “Compose New Mail” option, students can send an email to their instructor, their TA or their classmates en masse.
